R-102™ Fire Suppression Systems

This liquid agent system is the number one protector of today’s kitchen equipment. Available in two design options, this fire suppression system comes in designs for appliance-specific application and for overlapping appliance protection.
 
Appliance-Specific Design: This design provides the most economical use of liquid agent by reducing the size or quantity of storage tanks and associated hardware by aiming selected nozzles on specific areas of each appliance. 

Overlapping Appliance Protection: This design places nozzles in a straight line arrangement, providing overlapping agent discharge patterns. This creates a fire-free zone where appliances of various types and sizes are protected, even if they are replaced or rearranged under the hood. 

The protection provided by the overlapping appliance protection design now offers greater spacing between nozzles (expanded from 12” to 25.5”), simplifying piping guidelines. This makes the system more flexible and simpler, allowing for the protection of all appliances beneath the hood.

Ansul Piranha® Fire Suppression Systems 
The Piranha fire suppression system from Ansul employs two of the best firefighting extinguishing attributes:

Tests using the double-agent concept of the Piranha System have shown dramatically increased fire suppression performance yielding twice the coverage of conventional single-agent systems and cooling down cooking oils up to 15 times faster than wet chemical systems. The flexible overlapping nozzle provides coverage for most appliance arrangements and requires smaller and fewer agent storage tanks per system.
